What kinds of pumpkins do you have?
We have pumpkins in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes throughout the season. Our selection may include classic orange pumpkins, carving pumpkins, mini pumpkins, white pumpkins, decorative and specialty pumpkins, gourds, and more.
How much are pumpkins and gourds?
Prices range from $2 to $30.
Can I pick my own pumpkin?
Our pumpkins are displayed throughout Randy’s Pumpkin Patch for you to browse and choose your favorite.
Do you have pumpkins for carving?
Yes! We have pumpkins in a variety of sizes, including traditional orange pumpkins that are great for carving.
Do you have decorative pumpkins and gourds?
Yes! Look for pumpkins and gourds in different colors, shapes, sizes, and textures that are perfect for fall decorating.
I need a lot of pumpkins. Do you offer discounts?

Will all pumpkin varieties be available throughout the season?
Pumpkin varieties, sizes, and quantities change throughout the season and are available while supplies last.
When should you carve your pumpkin?
Pumpkins only last about 3 days to 1 week after carving, depending on weather conditions. Since pumpkins are about 90% water, carve your pumpkin as close to Halloween as possible to help your Jack O’ Lantern look its best on Halloween.
Always store your pumpkin in a cool, dry location to help it last longer.
I carved my pumpkin too soon, what should I do?
Coat the carved areas with Vaseline (petroleum jelly) to help seal in moisture. Do not use a real candle with Vaseline because petroleum jelly is flammable.
You can also wipe the pumpkin with a mixture of equal parts vinegar and water to help control bacteria and fungal spores. A packet of silica gel placed inside the pumpkin can help absorb excess moisture.
If your pumpkin begins to shrivel or degrade early, an ice bath may help revive it. This should only be done once because pumpkins do not respond well to repeated temperature changes.
How do I pick the best pumpkin?
Choose a pumpkin with a solid stem and no soft spots. Be sure to check the entire pumpkin, including the bottom and the area opposite the stem.
Never carry a pumpkin by its stem. Pumpkin stems can break easily, so always carry your pumpkin from the bottom.
What is the bleach solution method to help preserve a pumpkin?
Mix 1 tablespoon of bleach with 1 quart of water and place the mixture in a spray bottle. Spray the inside of the carved pumpkin and all cut surfaces to help reduce bacteria and mold that can cause the pumpkin to rot.
Let the pumpkin sit for approximately 20 minutes and then rinse it with cool water. Always wear gloves when handling a bleach solution.
When can I shop for pumpkins?
We’re open for the 2026 season from October 1 through November 1, 2026.
